When a grandfather received compensation money after being in a serious scooter accident, he didn’t think he would be using it to protect himself from further injuries.

The man, who is a Bristol resident who has been having a bit of bother with stray golf balls, since his back fence blew down a few years ago. He has seen a large number of golf balls land in his back garden over the years, and was once almost hit on the head by one whilst tying his shoe laces.

Deciding to take action and prevent the golf balls reaching his garden and possibly hitting him or his family, he has decided to use some of his compensation money to pay £1,500 for fence panels and concrete posts.
