A fireman is attempting to make a personal injury compensation claim of approximately half a million pounds after he was injured whilst attending a house fire.
The incident happened back in February 2008 when the fireman received 35% burns whilst attending a blaze in which a woman died.
The fireman claims that his colleagues were issued with the wrong instructions and as a result the fire intensified.
The fireman spent 10 weeks in a specialist burns unit and has undergone several operations and skin grafts.
