The women, many of whom were having constructive surgery due to breast cancer, were all treated at Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and their resulting surgery left them disfigured.
The surgeon involved in the cases is now only allowed to practice under strict conditions. He can only work under supervision and has to undergo re-training.
A woman has made a successful personal injury compensation claim after breast reconstruction surgery went wrong.
Diane Greenman who was 53 at the time was treated at Barnsley Hospital which is run by Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. She underwent the reconstruction surgery immediately after a mastectomy because she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The breast implants were positioned incorrectly and caused infection and Ms Greenman required several more operations. The whole process left her in a great deal of distress and she feels that no amount of compensation will make up for the experience she has been through.

A spokesman for the Transform Medical Group, which have 22 clinics nationwide, said that the grievance was between the surgeons involved and not the clinic.
