A young mother is planning to launch a compensation claim after a junior doctor failed to spot that she had a broken neck.

The woman had been involved in a riding accident during which she fell and landed on her head.

Doctors at Colchester General Hospital twice failed to spot the broken neck.It was only revealed two months later when the woman demanded an MRI scan.
The woman is outraged because she could have been left paralysed or even dead if she had sustained even a minor jolt whilst walking around with an undiagnosed broken neck.
