A passenger in a car received a record accident claims payout for injuries he suffered following a horrific car crash.
Wasim Mohammed was a front seat passenger in a car, which lost control when it was overtaking and ended up hitting a wall. The accident, which happened in July 2006, left the 22 year old a tetraplegic requiring assistance from 2 full time helpers.
The case was settled with the car insurers out of court. Mr Mohammed will receive a lump payout of £4.25m for his car accident claim with further annual payouts of £235,000.
Following the decision, Mr Mohammed has purchased a house opposite his family. He said I am very grateful to all those who have helped me since my injury.
