A man involved in a tragic car accident, which resulted in the death of three of his friends and leaving him paralysed, is seeking compensation for his injuries.

Latvian Jergenijs Samohins, who had only been in the country a few days, was driving on the A141 when he was involved in a collision with a skip lorry in July 2008. Three of Mr Samohins colleagues who were travelling with him were fatally injured and he received a spinal cord injury resulting in paralysis.
The lorry was driven by Dennis Ellingham who was employed by Carcarc Environmental Services ltd. Mr Samohins is suing Mr Ellingham and future accident claims could be made by the remaining passengers.
Ms Luscombe, Mr Samohins solicitor states Mr Samohins was a fit and active family man who has been left with devastating injuries that affect every aspect of his life. In response Mr Ellingham and Carcarc have refused to accept liability.
