A 29 year old man is to receive a large sum in compensation for his injuries following a car accident and for the medical negligence which ensued.

The man, from Romford Essex, was travelling in the passenger seat of a car. He momentarily unfastened his seatbelt to deal with his 18 month old child when the car, driven by his partner, collided with the one front.
Tragically, the crash caused the man to break his back resulting in paralysis. His condition was further aggravated by the hospitals failure to identify a 'deteriorating neurological condition'.
The claimant is expected to receive between £2 million and £3 million in compensation. 80% from the NHS for medical negligence and 20% from his partners insurers for his accident claim.
