A passenger in a parked car is seeking compensation for the injuries he received when another car crashed into the car he was travelling in.

In April 2008 Darren Best was a passenger in a VW Transporter when a car driven by Darren Smyth drove through a junction recklessly and hit the car Mr best was in before going on to hit a building.
The 40 year old was taken to hospital where he was treated for severe spinal injuries. As a result of the accident the keen sportsman is paralysed from the waist down and is unable to pursue his favourite sports of gold, football and rugby.
Mr Best has made an accident claims against Mr Smyth for the amount of £300,000 stating he was driving negligently and driving too fast.
