A man who received severe head injuries during a car crash has made a successful accident claim.
The accident took place whilst Sean Milligan was driving in Carluke, South Lanarkshire in Scotland. His car was hit by another vehicle which was being driven by a banned driver who had also consumed more than the legal level of alcohol at the time of the accident.
The banned driver, Mark Lynch, was subsequently jailed for 9 months.
Mr Milliagan is to receive a payout of £3.3 million to assist with paying for his ongoing care. He spent 28 weeks in a brain injury rehabilitation unit immediately after the car crash.
