Injury Claim Case Overview
Ms X was standing on a jetty at a Marina discharging on-board sewage from a canal boat she was using. Ms X saw the Defendant, along with a few others trying to retrieve their boat from the water.

The Defendant got into his car and was attempting to move his boat and trailer from the water. Ms X turned back to what she was doing and suddenly felt an incredible pain in her right thigh. The Defendant had attempted to pull the trailer and boat from the water whilst one of the mooring ropes from the rear of the boat was still attached to the jetty. As the tension built on the rope this snapped off and whipped back hitting Ms X and causing injury and muscle damage to her thigh.
Damages Awarded
Ms X received damages of £5500.00

“Very happy with the service throughout, I had tried other firms who wouldn’t take the claim on but Jefferies were happy to take my case on from the outset.’
