A man who sustained severe injuries to his hand in a work related accident has been successful in his compensation claim.
The man worked for a firm who produce toilet tissue and kitchen roll when the accident happened back in October 2007. He was asked by colleagues to assist them to repair a jam to the machinery. He had not been trained on the machinery and his hand was crushed between two rollers.
The man required surgery and still suffers from pain in his hand.
