The widow of a man who died in a work related accident is launching accident claims against her late husband's employers.
The woman is making the claims after the results of the inquest found that her husband's employers were not liable for his death. However, the Health and Safety Executive are carrying out an independent investigation into the incident.
The man died following a gas explosion in the factory he was working in. He sustained severe head injuries having been blown off his feet when a large drum of carbon powder exploded.
As the result of the accident the company has taken the decision to stop using the equipment the man was working with at the time.
