Bus passengers suffered whiplash injuries when they were involved in a collision at at 12.20 pm on Friday 30th January in Dumfries.
About a dozen passengers received injuries when the bus collided with a van. An ambulance was called and passengers were treated for minor injuries at the scene although several have subsequently developed the symptoms of whiplash. The driver of the van was taken to a local hospital suffering from head injuries.
It is thought that passengers on the bus may seek to make personal injury compensation claims.
