Compensation For Drink Drive Victim
A significant amount of compensation has been awarded after a successful accident claim by a former soldier. The victim was left with life threatening injuries after being knocked off his bike by a drink driver.
The accident happened on the A435 Bishop’s Cleeve bypass in August 2002 and the driver of the car was twice over the legal limit when he was arrested.
The victim was left with several fractures to his right leg, two broken vertebrae, broken ribs and damage to his kidney, bowl and lungs. After many operations over a three year period the victim had to have his leg amputated below the knee.
