Faulty Product Case Study

In November 2018, our client had bought a banana milkshake from Asda. After finishing the milkshake, the client found a used and dirty plaster at the bottom of the bottle.

The client suffered from vomiting and diarrhea. The client had ongoing digestive and abdominal problems, requiring 14 days off work.

The client first contacted FPI in April 2019. The case was then eventually settled for £15,000 in July 2021.
