Slip & Trip at Work Case Study

In 2021 the client was at work, in their place of work at a care home. They were walking outside where all of the grounds had been gritted apart from the path leading to the back entrance of the care home. The client slipped on the untreated path and fell backwards. Following the accident, the path was gritted and warning signs were put up. The client was taken to hospital following the accident. They suffered soft tissue damage and a back injury.
